Klinik Dr. Shah is a new facility located in Petaling Jaya Selangor to cater to the needs of allergic patients within the North Klang Valley area. How we test for allergies
With a good allergy history and clinical examination complete, we test for allergies in one of the following methods:
SPT (Skin Prick Test) is a painless way to test for allergies. SPT results are more accurate than a blood test and results can be seen within 20 minutes of the test
Blood Test- Specific IgE test for the sensitivity of the immune system to specific allergens. This is a blood test that is sent to the labs. Its advantage lies in that multiple allergens can be tested with a single tube of blood.
